Polo Man = delicious tone! Cool tune, cool arrangement. This tune needs a pimp rag and a cane.

The J p/u's sound great! Certainly not as big sounding as the soap bars but still quite thick to my ears and definitely has the Roscoe sound. I think after playing the Elrick for few months they actually sound very normal to me.
The overall quality of the bass just really impresses me. It's just flaw less in every area. Construction, setup/playability and sound. I love the oil finish too!
I'll still haven't played it out in a live mix but I'm thinking that I may prefer the sound of the J p/u's over the soap bar p/u's (primarily because of the focus the J p/u's have).
It sounds great through the GB 9.2 and Berg HT-112ER.

The black hardware does really affect the tone. Makes it a bit darker!
Looks like Grant is contemplating whether F should have been called E# or should E be called Fb. Merigail is adding insight and Ellie thinks the other two are silly.

I should have sucked it up and bought that bass. Sweet stuff.

Yeah, it's an awesome bass Steve. I've owned enough Roscoe's to know that this one is a bit special. Everything about this bass is just flawless!
The good thing though is all you need to do is narrow down exactly what you want and they can build it. You won't be disappointed in the overall look, playability and sound of the Roscoe CS bass.
.... just make sure you get the black hardware though! The magic's in the black hardware. No doubt in my mind!
Adorable Joe. Cuties! I am sure they are a "bit" spoiled by grand pappy!
Pete,
They are all definitely spoiled! My wife and I get in trouble all the time ......... especially me!
Here's a picture of the playground that I'm building in the backyard for them. It took 20 hours to assembly!
Of course it inspired a new song ("Jungle Gym"). I'll also attach a version of the tune with the bass laid down using the new SC+6.
Picture "Papa" Joe running and swinging through the Amazon jungle on his way to rescue the G-Kids from the evil bear from Toy Story 3!

When I played Ryan's Century 5's - one soaps, one jazz - I thought the same thing. I have been a jazz guy and didn't care for the soaps when I had an SKB 3005. I loved the sound of the jazz pups and the feel of the Century body.

Yeah Steve, you should get a 4 or 5 string going. You'd definitely love it!
Making the Black hardware available on the CS models was the last straw for me. Chrome just sounds too thin!
