Here's a new "Bass Orchestra" tune that I recorded this weekend.
It's based on the awesome song by Chris Tomlin called "Faithful".
I used my Roscoe CS6+J (Mahogany body, koa top, maple neck and fingerboard, Bart J style P/U's and Bart pre) on this song and it was recorded using Reason 6.0
I plan on adding some fretless parts after my Roscoe 3006 fretless arrives tomorrow.
Dude your clip is just killer sounding! Everyone in the group has such great chops including the vocalist! Great bass tone too. That mahogany body w/maple board sounds very familiar. You just can't go wrong with that combo!

How did you record it? Great quality!
Man, thanks! You're right - you can't go wrong with mahogany. In fact, I've told Gard it's my new religion
That was out of my iAmp 800, and came off a split into 2 zoom R16s. I dumped those tracks into the computer and mixed in Reaper.

Well I got my Roscoe 3006 fretless setup last night so I just had to lay down some fretless parts to the latest "Bass Orchestra" tune that I recorded, "Faithful", written by Chris Tomlin..
Dang, I didn't think you could have improved the first version you posted. Then you go and do it. Fretless sounds incredible.
Thank Bill. I'm loving the 6 string fretless. The high C sounds so sweet. I've got a lot of woodshedding to do to be able to do this bass justice but having the high C does seem to help a novice fretless player like me by allowing me to play in position a bit more.

I hate to tell you Joe, but I liked it so much that I shared it on Facebook. The more interesting part of that is that my friends are now sharing the link with their friends.

God Bless, Ray
That's cool Ray! I consider it a compliment that you'd do that.
