Sweet! I was really into them in the 90's (them and Spyro Gyra). What an excellent player!

Great footage and music, this show must have been a blast to play. Unfortunately my laptop speakers didn't reproduce the bass at all!

Here's my LG-3005 on "Recorda-me"

This is the Joe Henderson tune "Recorda-me". I play a solo at the end, I know it's kind of lame, but you can hear how the instrument sounds. I'm playing through a Phil Jones combo amp with all EQ set flat. The video was shot on a Zoom Q3-HD.

Catching up...

Wimpy, Todd, Brian, Bassmahn, and Jim....all great stuff! It's awesome to hear these instruments in such varied musical settings. It's also great to hear cats just chasing after it....that's what music is all about! Right on, brethren of the low note, right on.

Totally. Having laid hands on that bass, it is just amazing to hear the music that Brian effortlessly gets from it. Big fat kudos.

WOW PE- makes me want to chop up my SKB 3006 for the wood stove. Pretty stuff

I now realize that I have a great deal of work to do to fine tune my jazz chops. Autumn Leaves, Blue Skies, Black Orpheus, Angel Eyes, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat, One Note Samba, etc...,"I'm workin' here!"

Thanks for posting, love the space between notes..
