I always hate catching up after taking a day off... and I only took a half day off on Saturday! But I'm all caught up now!

The Rush show was awesome. I loved the tune selection - it was 2 new tunes, several of the tunes that I dig from more recent albums, and then a TON of older stuff. Some from Rush, Fly By Night, 2112, Permanent Waves, Signals, ALL of Moving Pictures... that's about as good as a Rush fan of my vintage could hope for.

They weaved in some video content that was pretty hilarious, and all three guys played their butts off.

Such a great weekend! Many thanks for organizing/hosting, Gard!!

Man, always a good time when you get to GSO, and the concert was first-rate (as always), the hang afterward even better.

Glad to hear you guys had a great time. It's always good to share an event like that with good, like-minded friends.

Now if guys can just get Geddy to start rockin a Century with block inlays, etc...

Indeed, it was.
I'm about to be hospitalized with Roscoe G.A.S., but that's another story..

I suppose not.. heh.
The funny thing is, this wasn't my first visit to the shop. And, it was playing Gard's personal basses that really tripped the trigger, and I'm not a 6-string guy.
Oh, and seeing pictures of Greg's basses.. drool..
I have the funds to make this happen. The question is, do I have the guts/bad judgment/ability to sleep on the front lawn for a week?

Do it, and just call the sleeping on the lawn "camping" like when you were a kid. It will all work out.

Dave, You gotta make it happen man. The GAS never leaves. But be forewarned, these badboys are like Lays potato chips. You can't have just one.

God Bless, Ray

Forgiveness over permission. It's the only way to get things done.

Yup, always easier to get forgiveness than permission...however, I sometimes stay with Dave when I'm in the ATL, and Mrs. Dave may hurt me next time...

...eh, it's worth it, Dave, GO FOR IT!!!

I just gotta hear from the taxman. If we're alright on that score, there is a very good chance I'll be giving you a call.
