^^ I've heard tell of it, but I've not seen it yet.

Honestly, I'm in the process of evaluating whether I'm going to remain a TC dealer... they're nice products, I just don't see a lot of sell-through here. I think there must be a handful of other dealers out there who are the go-to source for TC stuff. Win some, lose some.

So if I go where I think I'm headed, I'll be blowing out my remaining TC bass amp stock (several heads and cabs)...

That's a real shame, as they're awesome stuff. Well, I suppose the guys getting the blowout deals won't cry too much!

That said, I had thought I was settled on wanting a Streamliner 600 finally, but then saw this new RH-750, and that Tweetertone being able to kill the 450's hard 5k low pass filter seems like it'd be able to sweep from the 450's vintage tone to much more modern sounds. Hmm...

Between you posting this amp, and the crazy speaker prices, my day is officially ruined. (Well not really, but I was bummed for a second)

Speakers that will increase in price just shortly....Neo becoming a high commodity will make ceramic manufacturing value increase too.

In other words, we as consumers are now screwed whichever we choose.

Get em while their hot.

Yeah, I think I'm going to pass on putting more into TC bass gear (like ordering the new head and combos). Instead, I'm just going to blow out my remaining inventory and call it a day.

Here's what I've got and what I'm asking for each individual item:

1 x Classic 450 Head: $450 shipped (usually $799)
1 x Staccato 51 Head: $699 shipped (usually $1199)
3 x RS-112 Cab: $280 shipped (usually $399)

Shoot... 2-3 really nice leather straps, and you're almost to one of the cabs!

I'm sure you've seen Moody Leather?

Greg, would that cab(the RH-112) be enough to run one of them RH-750's, or a Streamliner 600?

If so, could you please find out how much shipping is for that cab?

The RS-112 is an 8/ohm 200W cabinet. The SL600 is 375W @ 4 ohms, so there is indeed the potential to push the cab too hard... but with judicious use of the master volume knob, I would think you'd be OK.

I do like to err on the side of over powering cabs. That way your cab starts breaking up before your head does, and that should tell you to back off a bit. If instead you underpower with the head, then your head will break up first and that can burn up your speakers faster. All that said, this is almost twice as much power as the cab is spec'd to handle, which is more than I would typically suggest...

600W head into a 500W cab? No prob (in fact, ideal in my book). 375W head into a 200W cab? You need to ask yourself how careful you think you can be with it...

I'll check shipping and PM ya. Should I tease you with a streamliner/cab combination deal?

Hmmm, that is the question, I can't see myself going past noon on the master much, if ever, I'm basically looking for the best tone possible, at reasonable volume, you know, home stuff, recording, and jamming possibly with a drummer.

On the otherside I would plan on driving the gain high, to get grit.
