F/S USED Warwick Thumb NT 5

As construction begins on my new Roscoe fretless, I'm making it official: my hot-rodded Warwick Thumb NT 5 is for sale!

New, these basses go for $4499, and I've added a bunch of value with the electronics upgrades ($285 for Barden PUPs, and another $200 for the Audere 3zB 4-Band preamp). The bass is in excellent condition, I've treated her very well. Also, I have all of the original MEC electronics, and I will throw those in just in case you want to take the bass back to stock condition.

I'm only asking $2999, but I will entertain offers. No trades, please, I need cash to pay for my new Roscoe when it's ready.

Yikes!! Gard says my new Roscoe might be done mid-July, so I need to get this thing sold!

Instant $500 price drop, the bass is now just $2499. First come, first serve.

Hmmm - I just tried some of the clips, and the links seem to have dissappeared. Here's a good one:

As a semi-innocent bystander, I can say this is a very nice bass, loaded with groove-karma.

Great looking in person, too - very nice wood, beautiful curl in the body.

I actually like the sound of the MEC pickups and electronics better. I'm not sure if it's the way the bass sits in the mix of that song or the EQ settings.

Just in time too....warm up the car for Tues/Wed...you may be carrying two basses back with you, both fretless...that should make Stefan happy as well!

Wow...how cool is this action? And here's to hoping Mrs. Greg never takes a peek at the forum.

Hmmm. Maybe that's how I can get away with ordering a second one after the first of the year----just do it, and don't tell my wife.

What's the saying?? Better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission??

Well, I do have the benefit of being able to quickly throw my bass up on my store's wall and saying "no, no, that's not MINE... that's FOR SALE". Owning a music store is incredibly useful when it comes to covering up the depth of your gear acquisition depravity.

Man, I sure hope that TB "spouse filter" is working today

...I just got a message on our voice mail...some very irate female voice going on about her husband spending money profligately and his horrible taste in beer...couldn't understand a word of it...the caller ID didn't have a name, but said it was from Blacksburg, VA...

...I just deleted it, I hope that was the right thing to do...
