Website Pricing Update

I've been chatting with several manufacturers (Genz-Benz included) about what I can and can't do to show discounted pricing online. Crazy enough, it seems to come down to this: I can discount the overall shopping cart, I just can't discount individual products before they go into the shopping cart. Splitting hairs? You bet!

Needless to say, we'll be tweaking our shopping cart software to accomodate this new info. I hope to have it up and running sometime next week. So we can stop this "PM for a quote" nonsense, and you can shop online 24 hours a day knowing you're seeing my best price.

OK, we've got our site discounting the cart properly now, rather than individual items. We'll be making some minor changes as a result.

1) The 5% discount at checkout is no longer visible as a discrete discount, it's just been built into our new cart discountin process.

2) The TalkBassD discount is now obsolete, IGNITION is the code to use going forward.

3) I haven't updated all of my prices yet (that's a fairly large endeavor), so please don't judge us just yet. Please keep checking back over the next day or so...

Well, that went faster than I thought. By and large, my best prices are now being shown. There may be a few individual items (like out of production amps) that I'll drop the price on as I discover them, but most everything else is where I want it to be.
