Any experience with the Demeter HBP-1 and Aguilar DB680

I'm looking at buying one as a pre to the Strategy power amp I have to get a more versatile setup.

Just wondering if you'd used either and what you thought about them live and possibly in the studio.

Thanks

P.S Same question has been asked in amps but I value your opinion higher

Yeah I thought as much, just wondered since you've used aggie in the past and I know you used the Demeter DI on the IMA Robot album.

Oh well, I'll try the Aggie at weekend and see how I go

Tayste, have you been to www.basstasters.com? I believe they have clips of both of those preamps you can listen to. The Demeter is a super-clean hi-fi preamp. It's an industry standard if that's what you're looking for. Not familiar with the Aggie.
