Love this!

I picked up a '69 B15N from its original owner today for $585. You convinced me to pick one up and wow! I'm going to use it in the studio with my '78 SVT and live for smaller, local gigs.

Who built your road cases for them and what tubes do you use in them?

Again, fantastic quote!

Sweet deal! Under $600 for an original vs. $4000 for the heritage reissues they're about to put out... I think you made the right decision.

I want one.

I agree. I had this talk with Jimmy M last night. Still says he wants a new one...

Great find! I don't use a road case because mine never leaves my house except for a handful of studio dates a year, but one could be built by any reputable case company. As for tubes, I buy this set from fliptops.net and have been very pleased with the result. If you have the cash, you could go for NOS tubes, but I cannot comment on the value of those vs. the set in my link.

Thanks, I checked out the set from fliptops last night. I'm going to keep the current tubes in the amp except for the 6L6GC's...currently it does not have GC's in it. The 5AR4 is a Mullard, and the 6SL7's are Delco and Ampeg.

Nice amp, congrats. My cases are from a company called Dragon Cases, in Burbank, CA. There's lots of good case companies, though. Use one in your area.
