Justin, I just finished watching the full interview of you and it was very interesting (wish the recording would have been of better quality though). I'm not a professional musician but as a professional people person, I totally understood your comments about being someone that people want to be around and how that has helped your musical career. I thought a lot of your comments illustrated how versatility and flexibility can make you a better musician.
Great comments about getting a hollow body bass also. That's something I hadn't put enough thought into.
I just wanted to say how much I appreciated your sensible down to earth approach to music. To me, being a musician is as much about people as it is about music. Thanks. |

I lost my granddad to cancer and my dad has gone through chemo/surgery twice and is coming up on chemo again. It's tough but it does help you appreciate the time you have with them. |

| | | | Ya I saw the change to, that sucks because they had an archive of fantastic bass clips |

Kudos to JMJ for being on the money. |

| | | | You're very kind. I was kind of rambling, but ruminating on things that mattered to me. I hope it was of some help. I think there was an element there that wished I would play something. I hate playing bass in a setting like that, so if that continues to be what people would prefer to see, I may not be the guy to do that sort of thing in the future. All good though, there were plenty of people like yourself who got something out of it, and that's who I did it for.
