Built in parametric EQ on my 6 string

Dear Justin,
I've been discussing some EQing questions with my custom luthier and we we're thinking of doing custom wound pickups, but the primary thing I wanted to check with you was which frequencies you think my built in preamp should emphasize?
And also, do you think inserting LEDs would affect my tone?
I wouldn't want to ruin my purpleheart/bubinga setup!

Just messin with ya, have a great New Year!

With a custom bass and custom pickups (type, placement, etc. unknown) it is hard to say which frequencies will be important. But with a parametric EQ, you don't need to know that now, that's the charm of parametric EQs

& LEDs make the tone brighter

come on man, you can't mix purpleheart and bubinga. i'd recommend borneo padauk, or maybe bolivian marblewood.

even these woods are inferior to pure steer skull, however.

i would suggest putting LED's directly into the eye-sockets, and programming them to flash during your solo.

bass regards.
