I glanced through your pedal board pics for a compressor of sorts and didn’t see one (…but I am not a pedal guy so I may have missed it). My question is what sort of compression are you using in the studio? Are you using an outboard unit? A protools plugin? Or does any old compression do? Basically I am wondering what unit you think sounds best being that you have a ton of studio experience. Thanks!

I don't really like pedal compressors. In the studio I have an API 525, Distressor and Purple MC77 that I rock, I tend to mostly use the MC77, but very lightly 4:1, slow attack, 3-5 db of reduction.

In ProTools, I use Renaissance or LA-2A.
