JMJ's new project:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_g14q8V0lA

"Music Video from the group Digital Noise Academy. Digital Noise Academy is made up of the following people: Ken Andrews, Charlotte Martin, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Sharky Laguana, Tommy Walter, Fernando Sanchez, and Jordon Zadorozny."

WOW this is cool.

It's great to see JMJ in this. I really loved Failure, and I think the world needs more Ken Andrews music. edit: though I do realize this is very un-Failure-ish.

Yeah, I saw this on Twitter today - really digging the tune!
I was a big failure fan, and I'm aware of Tommy Walter from the first Eels disc but never heard anything else, and don't know who any of the other people are, but either way I'm really stoked on this project.

I want to play in a band with a dude named Sharky!

I thought it was cool...very moody and I like the way it picked up steam at the end.

Yeah, I commented on the page itself, but it does remind me a lot of Discipline, but a funkier version. Really digging this.

I loved Failure so so much. I like Ken a lot too. Failure should get back together.

Hey y'all:

If so inclined, one can now purchase "Melting Inside" at our Bandcamp site:

http://digitalnoiseacademy.bandcamp.com/

Plus, our formerly ****** website is now a glorious, epic masterpiece. It has a purchase link to Bandcamp and the one embedded video you've already seen!!!!

http://www.digitalnoiseacademy.com/

Best,
JMJ

I dig that track. Did you only play bass or did you contribute more?

And now it's a free download! Same link, as above.

I co-produced the track, played bass, and I think some guitar as well. DNA is a mish-mosh of passing hats around. In a great way.

Sounds like a mixture between Neu! and NIN.

love it, JMJ!

I'm downloading the Apple Lossless format right now!

and BIG KUDOS for using Bandcamp.

I launched my recording project, Marys Monster, using the service as the music page of my "cloud" website.
I think it's great and i've been talking to them about allowing 24bit Wav submissions which would take their already amazing array of format choices to a whole new level.

The world is a great place for music now-a-days, you just have to find the right value in it.

Great effort!

Cheers...yeah we're digging Bandcamp. There's plenty of great stuff happening in the biz; people just need to forfeit the old models. And one can lump iTunes (as a solitary outlet) right in there as an "old model", in a manner of speaking.

Thanks everyone. And I loved the Neu! reference. Highly influential to me.

JMJ

Thanks. P-Bass. Dunno about the signal chain, whatever was around.
