Drum Programming

I'm really starting to get interested in drum programming, but have no idea where to start. Is there any sort of resource that you could recommend that would give me at least a basic overview of how to get started? I'm mainly using Pro Tools, and have done some really simple stuff, but I would really like to see how a typical producer does it.

'Prolly some Youtube videos. But I just learned by doing: emulating beats on records. That's the best way to begin. If you have PT, just start learning by programming "Boom", that comes with it. A very simple drum machine.

Best,
JMJ
