I think Beck did you (and by extension, the rest of us) a favor by "making you" play upright. For someone with your kind of versatility and good taste, it just makes sense. I'm also a fellow electric-turned-upright player, and can definitely attest to how much just being able to get a good tone and play my fundamentals with good intonation on URB has helped and informed my electric playing.
Yes! I'm learning more about electric for sure when I get to dig into URB. So true! Thanks, mjchmara.
