How necessary is it to slap?

I guess what I'm asking is: Is it a severe detriment to my career to avoid slap? How often do you get asked to slap? How are your slapping skills, anyway?

It's good of you to take questions from working Joes like me.

My slapping skills suck b*##s. It's no detrement, no. Not to me. There's another hilarious thread covering this issue.
