Was it JMJ who said in a Bass Player article that he was in works with Fender on a sig, and that he was thinking of a Jaguar body? I could be wrong about that.

It's a dream....not for the vanity of attaching my name, but for the idea of creating a sound, a feel, and a look that I hear and see in my head.

We're not working on anything, but the idea has been very loosely tossed around to do a sig, but nothing has really been pursued at all.

I have ideas, that's for sure. My goal would be to make something that sounded really rude, really beefy, and looked great. That could be a lot of things. P-Bass? Jag? Jazz? Some strange hybrid? Semi-hollow?

We shall see.

Best,
JMJ

No signature Schecter but a very cool custom Tiesco-styled Hellcat bass that they did for me, which I used live with Beck during the '96-'98 Odelay tour.

The regular Jaguar JJ actually sounds better right now than my PJ. We need to experiment with wiring and pickups.

A semi hollow body jag. It would have a humbucker in the neck position and j pickup up next to the bridge. I could see Justin putting his name on something like that.
