IMPORTANT: Regarding NIN tour dates, etc.

Friends,

Time to set up a rule regarding NIN:

I would like to kindly ask you to refrain from inquiring about the veracity of rumors regarding NIN performing at such and such festival, in such and such town, etc.

Though it seems obvious to me, I need to insure that you understand:Not only is revealing advanced information on this forum counterproductive to our band agenda and business strategy, it also can get me into trouble.

Your source is nin.com. Which, in all honesty, sometimes provides information faster than even our own management office. Just last night, we posted information on Tom Morello's new "Streetsweeper" project being the opening act on the NIN/Jane's Addiction Tour, and we had only confirmed the billing a couple of hours prior.

In essence: with nin.com, you are on the bleeding edge of quality information.

Same applies for queries such as "what is NIN doing after the tour", or "when are you recording a new album", "is Trent really ending NIN", that kind of thing. I need to be discreet about any future plans that may or may not exist, so it would help me to not be asked. I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from.

Thanks!
Justin

p.s. As a corollary, the same applies to Beck as well, since I am sometimes privy to advance details of his career plans. Basically, a big part of my job working with any artist of this echelon is discretion and trustworthiness, which I need to remind MYSELF of from time to time as well.
