Insta-basses...

So tell us about the pretties you posted today. What have you been working on this week? I've wanted a T-40 for a while. That phase switch and the strange electronics have always been intriguing to me. They're super affordable too, which is another oddity. Seems like it'd be pretty cool with flats and a pick. Same with the Musician. Beautiful quirky instruments. What year is yours? Mike Porcaro used one in Toto if I remember correctly.

I'm working on the White Sea album, which is Morgan from M83's solo project.

T40 is bomb. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Paid $250 and it's perfect. Great instrument.

Musician: I think mine's an '81 or '82. It has quite a single coil hum to be aware of, but the tone is awesome.

Very cool. Thanks. Can't wait to hear the new music.

Is that an Ibanez Musician? Trevor Dunn used one on the first Mr. Bungle album I hear.
