I just saw NIN in Milan. We played a festival together.

Justin was so dope. I loved his tones and he plays upright on this tour!

Justin-I want that Yamaha you were playing. That bass sounded huge!

It was nice hanging out with you. That was a fantastic set and that kid can play the drums!

I love you Juan. SO good to see you, as always.

Thanks for the props...safe travels, see you at the next one!

I just got home from the gig, and after a 7hr drive back, can't get enough of both of you guys!
I was never a big Mars Volta fan, and saw them here in Zagreb a few years back (the deloused tour), but this time they blew me away! The new(ish) drummer and Juan made such a difference it was unbelievable! Kudos to you for making me a converte!

As far as Justin goes, NIN was the reason for my travel there and they did not dissapoint one bit, on the contrary, I'm so happy I already started making plans to go see you in Athens!
Justin, your playing and stage presence fit your role in the band so well that it was a true learning experience. I was sad to see you didn't bust the yamaha out more that you did though, the bass sounds SICK!!! To be honest, the only tones I wasnt thrilled for were the P/J Jag you played, it seemed to get lost in the mix!
In any case, this is long enough on its own, thank you so much for making this trip worth every penny and all the hastle, I have some smaller festivals lined up here with my band and it was such a good thing to see how a true proffesional handles himself at a show!

Haha! Ilan can play drums like a mofo. Met him a few times when he was drumming with lostprophets when my band toured with them, cool guy. Also, amazing at every other instrument under the sun!

Saw an awesome yamaha bass at download festival the other weekend in those endorsement tents they have, but had too much liqour to really enquire about it! It was a bb something i think.

Thank you, Casio. Glad you enjoyed.

Don't worry, that Yamaha is destined for more airtime. And I now have an identical copy of it. The P/J Jag just got some new SansAmp settings that didn't work so well, I agree with you completely. Soon to be remedied.

Best,
Justin

btw, I cant remember, nor can I seem to find it here right now, the P-Bass on The Good soldier is a '62 RI or am I wrong?
It sounded awesome as well, too bad you didnt fling that one around more too!

I'm also glad the Jag sounding that way was a temporary thing, I wouldn't want to lose faith in the loveliness of P/J combos!

P-Bass is a bastard...new American Standard with some old parts, Mike Schuppan relic job, and Quarter Pounder pickup.

A new BB bass. I don't believe it has a model number yet. I helped them develop it along with some other players that we're in the mix. It's astoundingly good. Completely "alive", like an old BB (a series of bass that I'm a huge fan of).

Will it be available to the public ?
