BTW, I thought that was real mean of Tom Bowlus to post the pics of that LeCompte he had built right under yours. I like Bud and think he does great work, but I'd rather have yours any day

Thanks for the compliment. That LeCompte is nice, but it's just too posh for me .
Doesn't look like the sort of thing you could throw around & shove through a fuzz box!
There actually isn't a second pickup hole. I think what you're seeing is the bridge's black rubber damper strip (palm mute). http://www.flickr.com/photos/9336149...7602884385041/
I've since taken unit off, but I may put it back on in the future - nice with pick playing.
Cheers
Nick

I don't offend easily, and in fact, I found your post to be humorous and in good spirits.
And I, too, think that Nick's hollowbody rocks!

I'm in Bristol, though we're both Mancunians, where humour can be even more 'acerbic'. Moved down to the richer South years ago during the first 'recession'. In the UK, I think the more North one goes, the greater the amount of piss-taking occurs - even psychs me out sometimes!
Guess you get the same demographic differences in the States. Noticed it myself, back in '97, whilst spending a year in Laurel Canyon.
Nice piece of furniture you got there mate!
