hey mate hope you have been enjoying the xmas season.
I have always loved nothing better than getting the chance to play with some awesome drummers, and i must say in that department you have the perfect gig.
Josh freese to me seems like the total package as a drummer, and i continue to be blown away by his playing and the sheer amount of records he has his name on.
I was wondering if you had a few words on what it is like to play with some such a beast.

He's fantastic. Incredible time, very brilliant rock phrasing, precision, and flirtations with danger. The only thing I'd say some other guys do better is pushing-pulling stuff, "broken" sounding beats, and delicate stuff. But he really is, speaking overall, the whole package. A genius drummer, who is also keenly aware of what everyone else is playing.
