Thank you.

My recipe:

Stock T-Bird necks and bodies, circa '99. One Natural, one Natural Burst, one Metallic Blue.

Hipshot Ultralites, Badass, bone nut, Schaller locks, and '70's NOS nickel-covered pickups and rings purchased from a broker in Japan.

Tour them for years, without regard for dings, scuffs and scratches.

Remove from oven and let cool.

Those pickups can be found in a new incarnation from Mike Lull. They sound good.

There are no more where mine came from, unfortunately.

have you ever played an Epiphone T-Bird? I know its not gonna be as good as a Gibson but I am on a budget. I'm sure they're alright just askin'.

Epiphone T-bird is pretty good, actually. I like the way those pickups sound. Plays good too, and the bolt-on neck is actually a pretty cool tonal enhancement. I say get one. I bought one of those first, and used it for some Beck touring in '99 before I started customizing my own from USA T-Birds.

the reason i asked is because a local music shop has 2 of them and they are both dinged up(scratched up and chipped paint) and only they only want 200 bucks each. even I can afford that.

Bridge Pickup

Neck + Bridge Pickup

I know my playing style is not amazing and I get allot of comments about that on youtube, but the videos are meant to just show a basic sound. I would love to have some feedback on this, how the sound I got compaires to a real T-Bird in particular.

P.S - Recorded through a Bass Pod XT (RIP) on the stock 'classic rock' setting to be universal.
