Peoples,

In the dream pop dept., some new music to check out:

School of Seven Bells new shiz, "Disconnect from Desire". So grand. They never disappoint.

Blonde Readhead...new one, dropping soon. I have an advance copy, it's awesome.

Rad, thanks! Need to plug into the Blonde Redhead vibe. Saw School of Seven Bells at the Troub a bit ago w Warpaint. Warpaint still had that dude drummer and they were cool, but 7 Bells crushed that place. So so good.

Dope! Is Skuli playing bass on it? Love his playing on "Misery..."

A band I recommend that is both dreamy and poppy - Danimals.

They are from sydney originally but now reside in NYC I believe after winning a competition to record with Mark Ronson. I think JMJ would approve.

(Obligatory thread tie in - they are touring aus with School of Seven Bells soon.)

Yeah Troub was a rad room to see them in. Seeing Klaxons there in a couple weeks. That will be ripping.

Also, thanks for the heads up on the new BR joint. Snagged it a couple days ago and been repping it pretty intensely since. Stoked to check em out when they come around next!

You check out new Autolux yet? Saw them Saturday. INSANITY.

I heard the Autolux gig was shredding from several people...I was at a record release party that I had to be at, bummed to have missed it.
