NIN in Arvika, Sweden...

Had the pleasure of seeing you guys play at Arvika earlier this week and holy crabcakes, Batman!

I have seen NIN on several occasions with several different people on stage, but this current line up with you, Finck and Rubin is just awesome!

The sound was close to perfect even from the first song, and your basstone was to die for....

To see a band that delivers like you guys do so far into touring (instead of treating like just another day at the office as so many others do) is pure enjoyment.

Keep up the good work!

Incredibly kind of you, thanks. You hit the nail on the head as far as our performance strategy: every gig kind of has to be treated as your last. Otherwise, the passion does not come through.

I appreciate the complement on the bass tone as well...I'm not out there, so it's good to hear, especially from a fellow player.

Best,
JMJ

I was drooling over your bass tone at Roskilde. It really did sound quite scrumptious.

I noticed the bassist from Isis was also using Aguilar at Roskilde and his tone was amazing too. All the other bassists I saw were using Ampeg and just didn't quite hit that oooomph and smooth chocolate lovin' that Aguilar seems to give.

That is very nice to hear! Yeah, it's a better midrange profile, at least for me. And in a big PA like that, the information between 200Hz - 1K is what really matters with bass guitar.

Hope that it doesn't hurt that I'm a sound tech as well (only ten years into the game, but still...

I'm still in awe of the performance though.

Once again, keep up the good work, give my best to the rest of NIN and take care...

Sorry, off topic, just wanted to mention to JMJ that I was checking out your web page and noticed your still listing Ampeg as a sponsor. (bottom of the main page) Just a heads up.
