Very sweet, J! You'll definitely move some Aggie for them with an endorsement like that.

man, i had no idea you recorded/played with Air! i picked up moon safari a few months ago, and it's been in heavy rotation since...my ignorance is challenged only by your ubiquity in cool bands it seems

My wife likes his look better fro-less. But she also likes my look, so you have to take her opinion with a grain of salt

Very cool, indeed! I agree with Jimmy, this is great for Aguilar. And they do make excellent stuff, I'm loving my DB410--sounds beautiful with my V-4B.

Are those brown jeans in the 2nd pic on your artist page?? I want!!!!!!!

Such a fanastic write up too!! After going lightweight, you have me suffering some serious GAS for an Aggie rig - 810 and all!! Just wish I was playing venues that I could even fit something that size on at the moment!!!

Nice Justin.

BTW (and sorry for the derail) there is a photo on the Aquilar site where you play an (?)unmodded(/?) Jaguar.

Ah, you're making me want a Jaguar for myself. (Still have a little spark of hope that Fender does a signature model).

But I can't justify the aquisition of a Jaguar bass. I have two custom basses on the way.

Thanks, y'all. Jaguar has a Badass and disconnected active EQ circuit, along with a different nut, maybe? Otherwise stock.

Red jeans, yeah. Marc Jacobs.

And know, a bit of poetry:

"The Afro comes, and the Afro goes
Whence it returns, few claim to know.
But with the autumn's clime and cooler days,
The Afro grows again, to ecstatic hoorays."

God, I'm such an artist.

Happy 4th, everyone.
J

Ahh dude - I can't afford Marc Jacobs - let alone find them in Oz!! Might as well use that kinda money on an DB751!!

And love the poem....I am sure there are a lot around here waiting for the cooler days and the return of The 'Fro!

btw, how have you been finding the agro? I still cant manage to see how the agro and tone hammer were made as two separate products personally, so I wanted to see what you think of it

Agro to me is more full-featured, in terms of control over the distortion sound. They sound different to me, as well. The Tone Hammer seems to me to like being set a bit cleaner.

That is, yes. But it's not mine. It was a loaner from Fender for a few shows, because my white one was in vice grips for that time after I threw it up into the lighting truss. Oops!

+1

A AG 500 built into a 2x15 would be amazing.
