Hey Justin-
I'm listening to the newest Sara Bareilles album. Sounds great, especially digging "Say You're Sorry"!
Could you give us some info on that session? Gear, studio, number of days, if you tracked live with the band or overdubbed...
Thanks,
cjac9

| | | | ?? Most perplexing on that last one.
Anyway, gear: LOTS:
- B-15R
- tons of pedals set up, but used sparingly, except for some ambiences and "non-bass" stuff throughout the record
- Guild Starfire
- Guild JS100
- Fender '75 P
- TBird
- Wal Mach I
- Vox Cougar
- Eko violin bass
- Hofner Club
- Harmony solidbody
- Hofner solidbody
- Gibson Ripper
- Upright
- '66 p bass
- Gibson RD Artist
We tried everything, and used lots of weapons in the armory for sure.
Yes, we tracked live. What a pleasure. Sunset Sound 3 and the big room @ The Village.
Days in the studio: I don't know, somewhere around 15-18, if memory serves. We did it in three different chunks of time.
Say You're Sorry is Gibson Ripper.
Thank you!!
JMJ

Did you track everything through the B-15R alone or did you use a DI signal blended in as well?
Thanks!

| | | | Thanks retarded! Pasta4inch, I have all that stuff, but I don't bring it unless someone needs a favor. If I'm working at a quality place, there's never a need to bring anything.
