Sexx Laws by Beck

Hey Justin, I was just wondering- what bass are you playing in the video for Sexx Laws by Beck?

By the way, that video is the most hilariously bizarre thing I've ever seen.

What bass?? It's a broom with a couple of metal wires strapped to it, and some cutlery attached to the end. Good tone, tough to play.

Oh. I saw a poor-quality Youtube video that made it look like a real bass. Was that video fun to make?

Does Beck have a thing about cutlery? There's this, then there's "Clap Hands..." Seems like cutlery is a recurring theme with him

That video was one of the most profoundly exhilarating ways to waste $100K - 200K that I've ever known.

In fact, that's the last time I WILL ever know such joy. Times have changed!

There isn't anything right about this song or the video.
Everything is distorted, bent out of shape or corrupted. Instruments, lines, actors.
It really is a lot of fun though and it makes booties shakin'.

I'm sure they were fun to make, but I'm not complaining. I like some videos...Beck made hilarious videos, Devo made a few great ones, and of course "Closer" is a classic, but for every good one, there were 100 Quiet Riot and Warrant POS's. I'd rather watch a blank screen.
