Sparks' drummer

This might be more of a PM type of post. Doesn't really relate to bass playing. So, feel free to disregard...

Justin, you mentioned Sparks in one of your recent posts. I was just wondering if you've ever had any encounters, playing or otherwise, with their current drummer, Seve Nistor. He's from Detroit and bar-none the finest drummer I've ever had the priviledge to work with. I think he moved out to LA around '04 maybe. Just thought I'd give some props to a hometowner.

Dude. That's someone I'd love a chance to play with someday. My mate Steve McDonald (the same Steve McDonald that I got to replace me on the Beck "Sea Change" summer festival run when Joey and I split to go do Ima Robot) has been doing a lot of their shows/touring over the past few years. So Steve probably knows Mr. Nistor quite well.

I'll bet he's a beast. Because, from all indications, Sparks have been sounding INCREDIBLE in recent years with this band.

Thanks dude. Picking them up (digitally) right now! I was given Angst In My Pants and Introducing on a tape from a friend, I really wish I researched them more as the cassette hasn't left my stereo...I didn't know that had so many prior albums. Anyway, I am psyyyyccchhhed.
