| I have both...would recommend you try rounds first; you can throw some super long scale roundwounds on there, like D'Addario XL160SL. That way you'll be able to hear more clearly the personality of your bass...from there, you can move on to flatwounds. Just my idea, I dunno.
I know that GHS flats will fit on it, they're long enough.
