My hat is off to you sir for a brillant gig at the hordern tonight Your bass cut through the mix so well, it was great, the whole mix was one of the best i have heard live. Anyways did you and the band have a few tense moments when the power went out for that 40 or so minutes????
I was in the moshpit and there was some nervous and tense energy building, so it was great when the power came on because there may have been a mini riot.
Well anyways i hoped you enjoyed sydney and got to check it out, and enjoy the rest of your trip down under.
All the best mate.

Thank you very much indeed!

One of my fave gigs ever, last night. So epic.

I actually enjoyed all that tension and chaos when the power went out. I was handing out water and talking to the people in the front. We had cars running outside to get us out of there in a hurry, but frankly, I feel that was unnecessary. The tension didn't seem bad enough to me to get into riot mode, though some of our people felt otherwise.

Boy did I EVER check out Sydney! I have my wife & daughter with me, we had an incredible time.

Best,
JMJ

at the risk of hijacking the thread (sorry 5dude), do you get to take your family with you very often? and do you have some kind of "i have to see my family after 'x' amount of time" rule?

I take them out every few weeks, yes (my wife's schedule permitting). Or I fly home for a quick day if I have the time.

In this case, it was Australia and New Zealand, so how could I resist?
