A very flamboyantly painted blue sparkle with red tortoise guard Schecter Hellcat, with three Kent Armstrong Lipstick pickups. Sitting in my closet.

Hm, never seen that model before, very cool though.
I tried looking up some information on it, but can only find the Hellcat VI - no four string basses seem to come up, was this a one off?

Boy, that bass takes up a lot of real estate in a mix, huh? Love it!

This wasn't a one-off, but it's a custom, hand-made piece. They will still make them for anybody who can pony up the $, I believe. I also have an 8-string version in black which I've used on Beck recordings and some other stuff here and there.

Man, that tone is sick! Im saving up for my a 'proper bass' (Gibson/ ESP etc) and now im thinking custom Hellcat could be a VERY good idea... Hmm, JMJ custom shop signature model!

Does it come with a Pez dispenser?

Man, how to convince the wife that I really need the sound of lipstick pickups when I have 10 basses already? Most of them were $350 or less, but try telling her that. :P

Cheers.

Yeah, I'm sure I had some technical difficulties. :-) Don't remember exactly what, but yeah - happened all the time.
