Hey JMJ

You seem like a very creative, artistic individual, and I get the feeling that even if you weren't a bassist, you would probably be involved in some sort of artistic endeavor. So my question is, why were you drawn to the bass as your main creative outlet? Also, if you weren't a bassist, what do you think you would be doing?

Well, thanks for the vote of confidence! I really only stuck with bass 'cuz that was the only "position" that was still available in my friends' high school punk band. No joke! But I always liked it and listened to it in music...I enjoy the particular effect it creates. I think when I first saw new wave bands like Duran Duran on MTV, I thought the bass was pretty outrageous!
