Yeasayer?!

OK, I posted a thread earlier about recommended listening cos i wasnt getting buzzed by current music right now... then this evening i turn the channel to a show we have in the UK called 'later with jools holland' and see this band called yeasayer and was pretty taken with them. Not my usual thing strictly, but then it occured to me that sometimes good new music just finds you.. although haven't experienced that for a while!

Do you know about them? like them?

Would be interesting to know what you and everyone else thought about them, as IMO they're musically interesting and seem to use a lot of samples and sounds to awesome effect!

I have no idea how big this band is, if you've mentioned them before i apologise in advance

I'm just excited about my new find!!

I aswell just found out about yeasayer, they're not too huge of a band quite yet as far as I can tell. They're playing locally this week in Madison, opening for Man Man, $12 tickets. They're also going to be at lollapalooza this summer.

I like. They remind me of a several things put in the blender together. THey definitely are evocative of the band Clinic to me, somewhat. Would like to see them play.
