i've been using the german version for about 7-8 months now and i've got no complaints. although i've only been playing for about a year so take that for what it's worth. my teacher always comments on how surprisingly good the bow is for its price, however and he's got a lot more experience than i do

for the record, i've been using both carlsson and jade solo with it and i prefer the jade. it seems to really work well with the bow and give me a slightly darker, less puffy (more raw?) tone than the carlsson.

For the price, you won't find anything better.

I recieved my bow from Upton, not sure if it was the $100 one, however its a great bow. Dont really have much to compare but my fellow students and instructor feel its a great bow.

I praised this bow in the first page of this thread, but sadly, mine warped within the first few months of owning it. I always kept it in my Upton case, and it was stored in a climate controlled environment 99.9% of the time. I guess I just got a sour one; apparently there was a weak spot in the wood. My instructor tried to bend it back into shape, and it will stay straight for about a minute, but then it goes back.
