I have heard that Pirastro makes a Rosin specifically for Obligato strings. Has anybody tried it, and if so, what were the Results?

that's a violin rosin, I believe.

Oh, OK. Since the ad for the rosin came with my bass strings, I just assumed that it was DB rosin.
