Personally, I have no experience with Arcus bows (I own a Carbow), but I will quote a review the Italian bassist Vito Liuzzi posten on the 2xBasslist some days ago. Hope this will be of any help.
I have used ARCUS " Sinfonia " Carbon Bow for one month and half. One Arcus Distributor ( in Italy ), when I have decided not to buy it ( $ 1.500 at least ) , was going to sell me at $ 1000 , just to develope it among students and collegues. In my opinion, I think it was a good price, but , at the end, I've realized an Emilio Slaviero's bow ( Cremona ) at $ 1200 is much better. However it's only my very personal opinion. |
