| Bow help
Hello I am Alex and I am looking to buy my own bass and bow. I want to buy the bow first because currently the bow I am using is a school one that is absolutely awful. I wanted a suggestion as to what to buy. I am willing to spend up to 500 dollars on a nice bow. Ive heard pernambuco is the best from my orchestra instructer, but have not heard at all about carbon fiber? I play with a french style bow, not German. I would say my ability level is intermediate, I have been playing bass for 4 years and cello for 6 years before that, and a musical instrument since I was 5.
