Bow shops in Europe

Hi,
I've been all around the UK searching for the right bow and not had any luck at all! I'm wanting to widen my search to France and Germany as I assume i'll probably have more look there.

If I wanted to go pick up a bow in France does anyone have any idea where I could start looking?

Cheers,
John

Do you prefer German or French bow?

Then, of course, France is the better country for you to search for a bow …

I mean more specifically where, shop names, websites etc. I don't read french THAT well but I can get by. Recommendations needed really. Looking to spend €3500 approx. Would it be worth just getting a Pfretzschner (I think they make French grips too)?

I'd look to the states for a bow, but the £ - $ is just poor.

Try Augagneur-Bergeron bows!

See their website. I purchased mine after they had sent me 3 bows to try out. I bought the best of the 3 and returned the other 2.

I heard that they were quite light bows. Probably not best suited for orchestral and ensemble useage?

Would you agree?

How do you rate the tunnicliffe bows?

Those Lucchi bows look so so nice. Very well built by the looks of it. Did you get chance to try any?

Cheers,
John
