Question Cleaning Bow Hairs And Strings?

I think this may have been done so many times before but I haven't got time to trample through all the pages and find the topic(s). (I'm going GCSE's at the mo and haven't got time for them let along bassing or hunting for topic(s)-sorry.)

Anyways, how do I clean my bow and my strings? I've had my bass for ages, about 3 years now and I haven't played it much as I use school basses more than anything, I tend to just pratice on mine at home and do musicals on it. But...it's about time I cleaned my strings. Any ideas how I go about doing this?

I never use my bow either as it is a very badly warped bow, hoever, I have to use it at the mo because I've left school and can't borrow one of theirs. Plus at the mo I'm skint and can't buy a new bow. Any ideas how I keep my bow hairs clean?

Sorry post so many questions. Hope all you guys are ok. Take care now. Peace out, Kat xx
