Reid Hudson and Roy Quade both sell around 5k.
Fuchs bows are now 6k from Robertsons. |

Am I right that Fritsch makes bows that Rabbath plays?
Being that you are in Paris, do you know anything about Jean-Luc Tauziede? |

Also, I had a good laugh at this one; check out his "4G" bow: http://www.rodneymohr.com/bows-for-s...ern-bows/bass/
"The slide will remove exposing a 4G flash drive permanently embedded into the frog. With a USB cord, the bow can connect directly to your computer."
Seriously?

I'm also curious about more makers (if there are any!) in the lower price range, 1k to 3k. |

Here's one of his bows at Zach Martin's shop for $2600 http://zacharysmartin.com/bows.php
There is also a bow shown (farther down the page) by Donald MacKenzie, Brewster, MA. for $2500.

John Norwood Lee's site doesn't seem to indicate that he makes bass bows, but I see that there's one of his german bows for sale at Upton for 1200. Anybody use one of his? Does he sell them in that price range? |

I was very impressed with the bow (German, in my case). Ian and Peter (of Tom's shop) said they were made in Banbury (England)... obviously not by "George Marchand"... Andrew McGill would be my guess... but that's pure speculation on my part.
