Diamond Stamped bow

Is there any difference between the oval and diamond stamped samuel kolstein bows? Does the marking signify anything different?

I think both stamps indicate "made in the shop of" rather than personally made by Sam. If I recall correctly, the diamond was a slightly higher grade, although I played an oval stamp on a visit to them which I found superior to any of the diamonds he had there at the time.

I've never seen a diamond stamp. The oval stamp bows were made by Sam back in the "50's and maybe the sixties.
