Differnces in bow hair and the bow itself

Hey guys.
I've always wondered what the differences are between:
-White hair
-Black hair
-White and black hair mixed
Can anyone tell me what they are?

Also, this may seem like silly question but:
Why does the bow have to be curved? What difference does it make if the bow is curved as opposed to straight?

Generally, black hair is courser than white. I've seen white hair that's courser than any black hair I've used.

A bow without curve is just a club. It's the spring in the bow that makes it possible for us to do everything we do with a bow.
