E. Nurnberger violin bow

I have come into possession of a violin bow stamped "E. Nurnberger" above the frog. The bow is in pretty rough shape and I am wondering if it is worth restoration. Any work would involve delivering the bow to Nashville (about 2.5 hours away) so before going that far I wanted to find out what I can about the bow. I've googled the name but haven't found anything useful so far.

Does anybody know anything about the bow, maker, etc. OR any good TB-type forums for violinists where I might be able to track down some information?
