finding bow parts

I have an older bow and the part that is on the frog that the screw fits into to tighten the hair is striped and won't give any tension now. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get that little brass piece, and what it is called so that I could ask around without this horrible description. I looked at the Lemur catalog but couldn't find anything.

Thanks

Even if you find a mail order place that sells brass eyelets for bass bow, don't buy one. Unfortunately, there is no stardardization of thread sizes on bows. I keep a dozen or more different thread sizes in bass bow eyelets in stock and still occationally have to swap out the entire screw and eyelet on some older bows because the eyelets are just not available (anywhere), nor are the threading taps to make your own from blank eyelets.

Best advice - take the bow to your local bow or violin shop and have them replace and fit it for you. Many shops only charge a minimum amount for replacing the eyelet if you have your bow rehaired at the same time.
