Fractional bow for my 4th grader?

My 4th grader is learning to play the DB and has recently started working on using the bow. She's been using my (full size) bow but it's obviously too big for her. Do I get a 1/4-size bow to go with her 1/4-size bass, or is there some other consideration?

You can try a 1/2 size bow as well. I chose that bow for a 10 year old girl of mine who uses my 1/4 size bass. I compared it with a 1/4 and find the 1/2 size more suitable for her hands.

On further thoughts... most bass players use 4/4 size bows on 3/4 size instruments.

I noticed on my son's fractional sized cello bows, that the frog is always full size. Is this typical of bass bows as well?
