German Bow on Ebay

I need a bow, have borrowed my teacher's now for 6 months, maybe it's time?

Anyone have any comment on these I see on Ebay?

Thanks!

500$ ballpark and the help of a DB teacher (or anyother well learned ARCO Dbass player) is more more likely to yield a (half-)decent bow.

Place a bid ONLY if the seller accepts a "refund-if-not-satisfied-no-matter-what" policy: It is impossible to judge a bow without trying it... and it's easier to make a bow-shaped-objet than a real (yet only half-)decent bow.

In a strange twist of fate I came across this thread today.

I can personally vouch for this bow, as it was my girlfriend who bought it for me, and I've been playing with it since christmas now (just over a month).

And I've liked it very much. For it being my first bow, I'd have to say, It's perfect.
