Question German Bow Question

A while ago I bought a german bow off of ebay (I knew no better then, sue me) and one side is very loose even when the other side is as tight as can be. I wish I had a camera to show you, but I dont so no pics on this one guys. What I was wondering is, do i have to get my bow hair re-done or can this be fixed by something I can do?

You will need a rehair. But an old trick that Marty Confurius taught me when I studied with him a couple of years ago. For temporary relief you can run it over a gas stove (don't put in the flame cause you will light it on fire). The heat will tighten the hair until you have a chance to get it rehaired.
