green tea case from lemur

Hi, does anybody use one of the "green tea" or "cappuccino" bow cases from Lemur music? (You can see them here.)

I'm considering buying the green tea because of the snaps rather than zipper.

I use one of the green tea double bow cases. I like it quite a bit. I have no real complaints.

Occasionally one of the snaps inside the case will come loose but theres really nowhere for the bow to go, could just be a faulty snap, the other one works fine.

green tea case "review"

Got my case (this one). There aren't really any good photos on the internet that I could find, so I've included a couple. Here are my basic thoughts, for any prospective buyers:

--good construction, doesn't feel or look cheap
--two heavy duty snaps
--plush (fake) suede lining
--bow held in place by pressure, won't move around inside when case is closed
--may be a little bigger than it needs to be, but fits in my Messina bag just fine
--having a problem getting one of the snaps to stay, but I assume this is a fluke (I'm going to contact Lemur about it)

Only time will tell about the durability. Hope this info is helpful to somebody.

I just got mine in today!

Did any of your cases have an overwhelming chemical smell? Mine is pretty bad and I was wondering if anyone else encountered the same problem. If your smelled as well, did just airing it out sole the problem?

Mine has that same smell, but it's still brand new and I assume it will go away with time.

I know this is a really old thread but... I'm considering buying a green tea double bow case. How heavy is it? I'm looking for a lightweight option, as what I have right now is ridiculously heavy. Thanks!

I have Lemur's blue, sheath-like, Pocket Bow Case for my French bow. I like it alright, but it does not fit in my bass bag pocket. I bought it thinking I could leave it in the bag. At least it has a shoulder strap.
