Gutz bow

I recently aquired a "Gutz" bow. The "u" is actually an "umlaut" with the two dots over the top. The stick is stamped and the frog is stamped with a cursive signature. I've searched the net to no avail. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I know of a 'Gotz' over in Germany. It's a common brand but never heard of 'gUtz'.

That would be Götz, with the umlaut, I think. Probably from Conrad Götz in Germany.

Thanks guys. It is hard to tell from the stamp but it must be an "o" since I can find no info for Gutz, and plenty for Gotz.
